There have been other cricketers who have ventured in the world of fashion and have done well. The mercurial Shahid afridi launched a traditional men’s wear brand under his own name and is now available in all major cities of Pakistan.

Former Indian captain, Dhoni, known for his Helicopter shot also joined
the fashion industry in 2014 and launched a lifestyle brand by the name of “seven”. The brand manufactures and markets casual and sportswear clothing and footwear.
Harbhajan, The Turbanator also owns a cricket gear, apparel & lifestyle brand ‘Bhajji’ which is very popular amongst his fans, sportsperson and fitness lovers all over.
The brand as part of its international expansion plans has opened the first Bhajji store in Canada.
West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo, popularly known as DJ Bravo, also launched his official merchandise under the brand ‘DJ Bravo 47’ and is bring the brand to India with 3 Big Dogs, a celebrity apparel company based in Singapore.
All these cricketers apart from being good at their game are smart businessmen also. They have leveraged their overall goodwill and popularity and built an empire for themselves worth millions of dollars – a textbook shot indeed!
